About the role:
This role will support more experienced Designer or Design Managers on larger or more complex projects and/or lead the design process on small scale projects |
The Assistant Design Manager will work to develop an exceptional understanding of the design process across all disciplines to assist in managing discipline interfaces and the sequencing of design activities |
As a pivotal member of the Pre-Construction team, this role must positively contribute to the team, championing the Company’s ‘Inside the Box’ culture, whilst directly and indirectly contributing to day-to-day delivery, building our reputation with clients and external parties, and running our projects in a profitable manner |
This role will also support our Sustainability capability by working towards achieving a Homestar & Greenstar accreditation, with the goal of ultimately leading sustainability for projects and preparing Greenstar or Homestar submissions for Preformance & Southbase projects. |
In this role, you will be based in either Auckland or Hamilton |
You will have:
Experience: 3-4 years in commercial or residential construction within a main contractor or Architectural company |
Degree Qualified in Architecture |
Working towards gaining a Professional Qualification (Architectural Registration) is desirable |
BIM: Competent in the use of Revit. |
