Client Radcliffe Electrical
Dates June 2015 - April 2016
Southbase was engaged to build a new two-storey warehouse, retail and office facility. The building comprised of precast panels and a steel structure, with a feature façade of red aluminum composite cladding and profiled metal cladding. The building houses warehouse space and a general retail area on the ground floor, mixed office spaces on the first floor and a large open-plan office space on the second floor mezzanine.
Southbase was awarded this project as we showed a greater understanding of the project and the client’s needs. Our team took on the challenge of delivering the project within a nine-month time frame and did not disappoint; the build, civil and landscaping works were completed on time and under the original budget.
As with all our work we took an open and honest approach to the project, so that trust was easily established with the client. By working collaboratively with the clients we were able to deliver cost savings in various areas of the development and reduce the budget significantly.
In recognition of our work on this project and the strong relationship our team has built with the client, they have stated their interest in Southbase completing future projects at a national level.
