Quin’s career has comprised of executive leadership roles in significant and complex projects in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. With extensive experience governing and directing highly successful project teams and committed to his hometown of Christchurch, Quin established Southbase in 2013. Quin leads Southbase by envisioning and empowering his team to work collaboratively, producing the very best results for their clients.

As well as being chairman of Southbase Construction, John is a director of dual listed company Kathmandu Holdings Limited. John is a consultant at New Zealand’s leading full service law firm, Chapman Tripp, and was a partner for 19 years. During his legal career John acted on a number of high profile construction projects, in particular in the energy sector. John regularly provided advice to clients on the advantages and disadvantages of various construction procurement options. John is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors and for four and a half years was a member of the New Zealand Securities Commission.
Currently the CEO of Adelaide Brighton Ltd , Nick has over 25 years experience within the construction and infrastructure sectors. Featuring on the Board of the Australian Constructors Association, a former chairman of the Roading NZ Industry Association Board, a former Chief Executive of Isaac Construction, a Fellow of IPENZ and a director of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
With a background in banking and advisory work, Keith has over 30 years involvement in governance. He is a director of Sutton McCarthy Limited and has been Chairman of Taranaki Investment Management Limited, Gough Group Limited, Eastland Group Limited and Governor of The Van Diemen’s Land Company. He has been a member of the National Provident Fund Board, the Animal Health Board and Te Tumu Paeroa as well as a director of a number of companies including Sealord Group Limited, Wellington international Airport Limited, Wool partners International Limited, Rural Livestock Limited and Antipodean Lands Limited.
