GM Project Controls & Productivity at Southbase
Shawn leads planning, programming and project controls across Southbase, with more than 35 years delivering projects throughout New Zealand.
Shawn started as an apprentice carpenter and worked his way into senior leadership. That site knowledge shapes how he plans. He spots risks early, builds construction methodologies that work and makes sure each programme fits the client's requirements and the realities of the site. He was Engineering Manager on the New Zealand Schools PPP3 programme, coordinating design, planning and delivery across five schools built at the same time. He has also led planning on complex projects in live environments, including Wakatipu High School, the Albany Innovation Complex, Manawa, Te Kaha and the Takanini Data Centre.
