Group Financial Controller at Southbase
Courtney is Southbase’s Group Financial Controller. She leads the finance team and oversees financial reporting, controls and project cost management.
Courtney works alongside the CFO and leadership team, giving them the clear, accurate numbers they need for big decisions. Courtney joined Southbase in 2021 and has supported the business through a period of strong growth.
A Chartered Accountant, Courtney began her career in audit before moving to London. There she managed the accounts for more than 50 property-owning and holding companies in a large student accommodation group, and later worked in group financial reporting for a FTSE 100 global mining company. Her background in audit, property and corporate reporting means she understands both the commercial realities of construction and what lenders, sureties and investors expect.
