Chief Financial Officer at Southbase
Ant leads Southbase's financial strategy, with national responsibility for treasury, planning, legal and commercial oversight.
Ant works with the CEO and COO on the strategies, policies and controls that keep the business productive and well governed. He looks after treasury, strategic finance, financial planning, bonding, legal and commercial oversight, and manages Southbase's relationships with its bank, sureties, insurers and auditors. He built Southbase's strategic risk management framework, with quarterly risk reviews at leadership and board level that sit above project-level controls. He also started and led Southbase's sustainability work, setting baselines for carbon emissions and social impact. Ant has audit and M&A experience, including OIO and Commerce Commission matters, and represents Southbase on joint venture boards.
