Southbase has appointed a new independent Board of Directors, led by newly appointed Chair Susan Huria ONZM.
The appointments follow our management buy-out earlier this year. The new board brings specialised expertise in construction law, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and cost and risk management. Our directors have helped shape some of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most complex and significant infrastructure projects, including the City Rail Link, Transmission Gully, Pūhoi to Warkworth and the SCIRT Christchurch rebuild.
“Southbase has built its reputation on delivering projects of national significance,” says CEO Quin Henderson. “The new board brings a depth of experience that will help our leadership team grow, build partnerships and strengthen how we plan, price and deliver technically demanding projects.”
Positioned for what’s next
New Zealand’s National Infrastructure Pipeline has reached a record $290 billion. The new board positions Southbase to deliver technically demanding, critical infrastructure across health, national security, energy, water and processing plants. We’re also expanding our focus on digital construction and off-site manufacturing.
